Working in ONA brings a range of employee benefits many other agencies don't offer. Our salary rates are very competitive, with a range of allowances including an AIC Community Allowance and language allowances for linguists, and there's a generous study assistance program.
ONA is a small organisation, and will be a good fit for anyone who wants a job where they cover all the bases, whether these are in an analytic area or in more corporate specialties such as HR, IT or administration. ONA staff gain a broad view of the AIC and work closely with a number of government departments. Analytical jobs offer the chance to dig deep in an area of expertise, with very bright colleagues, and to contribute to government decision-making. Many staff members have opportunities for overseas travel.
The Office of National Assessments Enterprise Agreement 2016–2019 sets out the terms and conditions for APS staff employed with ONA. The content of the agreement was negotiated by ONA, ONA staff and the Community and Public Sector Union. The agreement came into effect 4 May 2016.
