Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience in analysing Indonesian politics, extremism, terrorism and/or other security issues. They will also possess a strong working knowledge of Indonesia's media and social media landscape. High-level Indonesian language proficiency is essential. Other relevant foreign languages are desirable.

North America Analyst

ONA Band 2 (EL1) ($97,792-$110,574) / ONA Band 3 (EL2) ($112,728-$134,416) (plus ONA Community Allowance)

ONA is looking for a highly motivated person to undertake research and assessment on the United States and Canada. The successful applicant will have a capacity for integrated political, strategic and economic analysis, the ability to write clear and concise reports relevant to the needs of senior policy makers and highly developed liaison and networking skills. Candidates should submit samples of brief publications or written work (under 10 pages) with their application. The position will be filled at the ONA Band 2 or ONA Band 3 level depending on skills and experience.
