Nina Davidson
Deputy Director-General
Nina Davidson was appointed Deputy
Director-General in July 2011, following a period acting in the
position. Prior to that, Ms Davidson was Assistant
Director-General of the Office's International Economy Branch. Ms
Davidson joined ONA to take up that position in January 2007.
She has spent most of her career at The Treasury, working on economic issues - ranging through Australia's international economic engagement, the domestic macroeconomic outlook and taxation policy - as well as on organisational strategy.
Before joining ONA, Ms Davidson was Principal Adviser in Treasury's G20 and APEC Secretariat. She worked as a Development Specialist in the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI) Machinery of Government Programme while living in Honiara during 2005 and 2006. And she was an Adviser to the Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC from 2001 to 2003.
She started work with Treasury in 1994, with a first class honours degree in economics from the University of Tasmania.
